The Kingsknowe Golf Club Course

The Kingsknowe Golf Course was originally designed by Alec Herd the 1902 open champion the course was later redesigned by James Braid.

The hills now define the picturesque cherry tree-lined fairways from which the mindful golfer must propel his ball to the well guarded and relatively small greens. There are several tough dog leg par fours throughout the 18 with the feature hole coming at the 460 yard par 4 sixteenth.

The golf course is well served by a purpose designed clubhouse with superb facilities and the magnificent dining room overlooks the 18th green.
