Make sure you don’t miss Edinburgh Rugby taking on Glasgow Warriors on the 2nd of January.
With the festive season approaching fast and before the mayhem descends, we wanted to remind you of our biggest game of the season, the 1872 Cup, Edinburgh Rugby v Glasgow Warriors. The deciding leg this year is to be played at BT Murrayfield on Friday 2 January, ko 7.35pm!
So why not start your new year by first-footing the black and red army at home and watching the teams as they take part in the oldest inter-city rugby derby in the world. It’s city against city, east versus west, and it’s all to play for with bragging rights at stake.
“It means so much for us all to pitch our skills, strengths and guile against our adversaries in the West, it’s war out there, no mistake”
… Dave Denton
However, it’s not just a game of rugby, but a whole evening of entertainment for all the family and with tickets for Under 18s at just £1, it’s a Happy New Year all round!
Tickets available from edinburghrugby.org, by calling the ticket hotline 0131 346 5180 or in person at the Edinburgh Rugby ticket office off Roseburn Street, priced at Adults from £20, Concessions £10 and Under 18s ONLY £1.
