Advanced Booking Procedures – Review

Following the introduction of the new covid-19 restrictions a couple of weeks ago, Michael, the Board and I have now reviewed the current situation and I can confirm we have re-instated all advanced booking editing rights for single and two balls, but you must still enter you’re 2nd player before your tee-time to avoid the ‘anonymous’ issue that track and trace are so strict about.

Also, the restriction of only 2 advanced bookings over a 7 day rolling period remains in place but you can still book as many games as you like if there are spaces on the day.  If you are looking for a game and see a space, remember to phone Michael in the pro-shop who will contact the lead booker on your behalf to try and pair you up.

Membership Payments

Thanks again to all the members who have re-joined and paid in full or their 1st instalment.  Although the weather has not be kind and I know we are in challenging times, to continue to enjoy the benefits of membership we need a payment as soon as possible as the deadline is fast approaching!  Thanks again for your continued support.

Bicycle Rack

One of our relatively new members enquired if we have a facility for parking bicycles at the club, I’m delighted to confirm we do and for those of you who don’t know it’s location, as you come out the locker room door, turn right and walk along the path to the corner of the hedge.  There is room for 5 bicycles, so if you want to keep fit and contribute in saving the environment, you now have another option to do so.

Car Parking

Once again, I’ve received some member comments about inconsiderate parking, please ensure you try and park your vehicle allowing enough room wherever possible.  The last thing we want to consider doing is to reconfigure the car park by extending the size of the spaces which would result in less cars getting in.  Thanks in advance for your co-operation in this matter.

Pro-Shop Opening Hours

Finally, please note, the pro-shop will be closed on Thursday 28th & Friday 29th of January with the shop re-opening on Saturday morning.  Let’s keep our fingers crossed the weather continues to improve allowing all of us to play a few holes soon!

Kind regards

David Mackinnon
